Anchor Tavern
About the project:
This 7,500 square foot rehabilitation within the historic core of downtown Everett involved stitching together two different buildings into one historically sensitive design. The new facade was overlaid onto a hybrid structural "strong-back" reinforcement of steel and CMU. DYKEMAN collaborated with the owner to develop nautical details the tavern. An overhead garage door was added to facilitate moving music equipment in and out. the result is an expanded tavern that hosts the best "Rock-a-Billy" concerts north of the Tractor Tavern in Seattle.
