Housing Hope Village Campus

About the project:

The Housing Hope Village Campus on Evergreen Way in Everett, WA, is a model for effective approaches to affordable housing.

The Campus Development consisted of three phases, the first included 19 new units and a 4,000 square foot Administrative Service Center.  Phase two included Tomorrow's Hope Child Care Center and Phase three including 18 new units, and a 3,000 square foot Learning Center.

Major design issues included blending the different phases into one unified campus while still relating to the adjacent properties. This blending was achieved through use of materials, building details, and landscape design.  It was important to create a place of pride and ownership for families that live in the Housing Hope Village complex.

About Housing Hope:
Homeless and low-income families in Snohomish County have turned to Housing Hope since 1987 for successful solutions to desperate situations.  With safe, affordable housing opportunities and access to a wide range of effective programs, families are empowered to make lasting changes in their lives.  As struggling families regain hope, the entire community benefits.
