Roosevelt Way Safeway
About the project:
A 40,350 square foot Safeway store with a +38,500 square foot parking structure.
This urban store is located on a small site at the busy intersection of Roosevelt Way, Lake City Way, and NE 75th Street in Seattle. The design utilized the sloping site to provide 76 on-grade parking stalls near the store entry with the remaining 92 stalls below the store with a connection to 73rd Street.
The design is sympathetic to the urban neighborhood. Our solution exceeded the requirements of City of Seattle Design Review and the local community groups.
