Sally Buganski
Accounting Manager, Benefits Administrator
“I think a good accounting department is the fabric that holds a business together.”
When Sally first began manually crunching numbers and preparing payrolls 40 years ago, she never really thought about asking for other work because numbers and people were a fun combination. Sally feels fortunate to have gained wide experience from successful people and companies she worked with during her career. This early training helped her manage Dykeman’s accounting, employee benefits, pension plans and monthly payrolls over the past 20 years. She says every day is a new challenge in her department.
Sally isn't a native to Washington - her childhood and youth was spent traveling with her U.S. Air Force family overseas and in the USA, however after living 37 years in the Seattle area, she calls Washington "home." Outside of work, Sally enjoys the rewards of being a new Grandma, the love/hate relationship she has with her yard, and cooking and baking for her family and friends. She recently learned the word for a female accountant in Italian is "ragionera" - which sounds more like a pasta dish, and knowing this makes her job a bit more fun!
