Scott Schreffler, LEED AP

Sustainable Design Coordinator, Project Architect

“Design is only as good as how well you listen.”

Scott, project designer and manager, began his architectural career in 1991. His focus and passion are multi-family residential, mixed-use and commercial office projects for both private and public clients. Since 1991, Scott has been involved in sustainable design and became LEED accredited in 2001. Scott is active locally as a leader in sustainability, heading up a local LEED user group and other organizations acting as a resource toward educating others about sustainability. As the sustainable design resources coordinator at DYKEMAN, Scott initiated and performed the company carbon footprint analysis. As the coordinator, he and the committee are targeting ways DYKEMAN can save energy and reduce their carbon footprint. Scott is passionate about creating a healthy environment in Everett and Snohomish County not only for this generation, but for the next seven generations and beyond.

Originally from New York City, Scott now resides in North Everett. He is an urbanist, enjoying life close to all the conveniences the city brings, such as walking distance to stores and parks. More importantly, he understands that good design is key in making urban environments attractive and successful places. Scott often enjoys walks with his wife, kids and his black lab along the river or at the beach. He is an avid fisherman, reader and sports fan.
