Principal

“It's not the role of the architect to impose his or her own vision, but to work with the client to bring their visions and desires to reality in a building form that exists in harmony with its environment.”

Tim joined DYKEMAN in 1988 and became a principal of the firm in 2005. He has over 22 years of experience in architectural design, project management, business development, and construction administration. Tim's experience includes K-12 schools, historic preservation, retail and commercial projects. Being a resident in the local community and having a son in the local school district, Tim has always promoted community architecture. He believes that great architecture evolves from a community's culture and history.

Tim has been involved in many Everett and Snohomish County projects, from the historic preservation of Everett High School and the Everett Public Library, both facilities built in the early 1900's, to new construction, upgrades and modernizations for the Everett School District. Other projects include Petersen Office Building Adaptive Reuse, ICON Corporate Headquarters, Mount Vernon City Hall Modernization, and Peoples Bank, to name a few.

Outside the office, Tim enjoys hockey, fishing, remodeling his Everett home, and his annual vacations to Mexico.
