Dykeman

Clay Wetherington

Intern Architect

Clay recently joined the Dykeman family and the architectural profession. After receiving his Bachelor in Applied Mathematics from Florida State University, he served the public at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. An aspiration for a more tactile means of service then led him to obtain his Master of Architecture from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.

His varied background leads him to approach design from a foundation of strong analysis and stewardship for the public and natural world. Additionally, he enjoys learning and applying new knowledge and building strong, meaningful relationships. His love of architecture comes from a desire to be of service, shape the experienced world, and synthesize his passions for art and science.

When outside the office, Clay can be found hiking or running with his wife through the beautiful natural and urban settings of the Greater Seattle area or visiting one of the many fantastic museums. He can often be found with a sketchbook exploring both real and imagined visions. And he also takes pleasure in reading and expanding his views and understanding.
