Doug Hofius, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
With 24 years of experience, Doug brings a wealth of expertise and innovation to the Dykeman team. He has worked on a wide variety of projects, with specific focus on both large housing and education projects. He is passionate about his work on schools because he recognizes that schools are the center of communities. Doug specializes in finding innovative design solutions for educational projects that foster community interaction and imagination.
Doug enjoys the collaborative environment at Dykeman and champions efficient, sustainable design strategies that minimize cost and conserve resources.
In his spare time, Doug is a part time farmer on Whidbey Island. He raises sheep, pigs, chicken, and bees, and has two kids in college. Passionate about community advocacy, Doug serves as a board member on a local community council and volunteers at the Whidbey Island Housing Authority.
