Dykeman

Evergreen Branch Library

Before renovating and expanding the Everett Public Library, Dykeman worked with Everett Library's Director to open a new branch. We all understood that the main downtown branch would be closed during construction. We wanted to serve the patrons during that time.

The site was surplus City property, adjacent to a new fire station on a busy commercial street. Our Site Master Plan left room for building growth and placed the new library toward the back of the site to better buffer neighbors against traffic noise.

When the library opened, it gave patrons a glimpse into the future. Dykeman's design team provided full architecture and interior design; site design, environmental graphics; furniture, fixtures, and equipment selection, specifications, and bidding and installation services.
