Krispy Kreme’s franchisee, KremeWorks, commissioned Dykeman to create their retail doughnut store prototype design standards. The design was so successful that KremeWorks hired us to roll out their stores in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and British Columbia. The rapport and camaraderie among all team members has served the Owner/Developer well in building brand identity in the Northwest and maintaining record sales.
The prototypical store is approximately 4,300 square feet with both a sit-down dining area and drive-through service. The clean and simple finishes, clever signage, and retro graphics are instantly recognizable, providing a nostalgic atmosphere. Customers delight in watching the doughnut production line as they enter the store, and fresh, hot doughnuts are served to them in line to whet their appetites.
