About the project:
Beyond creating a highly functional website, the Port of Skagit wanted a strongly branded, premiere website that would successfully propel them toward their mission, “Jobs for our Community”. It was a pleasure to work with a team that understands their website as one of the most powerful tools to effectively communicate their unique brand. The DYKEMAN web team incorporated brand colors and images into a final concept that builds brand synergy and weaves the Port’s look and feel onto every page.
Another important goal of the Port is to serve their community with convenient online services and deepened functionality. The Port of Skagit website was designed as a central source to the Port’s four distinct properties. Developed on a robust content management system, the website is fully manageable by internal Port staff. Multiple custom forms, dynamic mapping, slideshow galleries, along with news and events calendar, provide the Port with leading technology, ideal for effective communication to the surrounding community.
