Kathryn Gannon

Kathryn joined the Dykeman Team in 2018. As an experienced interior designer of school environments, she provides a wealth of knowledge on education delivery and an elegant design sense.  A skilled listener, consensus builder, and team leader, Kathryn can reflect, prioritize, and synthesize the values and expectations of wide-ranging stakeholders into designs that both inspire and coincide with functional goals, budgets, and timelines. Kathryn finds inspiration for her work in nature, light, and humankind. “I am passionate about community architecture; being able to be a part of creating and delivering a building that provides positive impacts on communities is amazing.”

 

In addition to designing, Kathryn takes part in the ‘Reimagining Your School’ program at a local elementary school. “It’s a positive experience to be a part of and to see through the lens of students; it really gives me insight into children’s minds when designing a school for them”.

 

Outside of the office Kathryn enjoys spending time with her husband and twin children going on long walks, gardening, playing outside, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
