AIA Seattle recognizes Valley View Middle School for the Energy in Design Award for the 2016 Honor Awards.
Only 21 of the 140 projects submitted qualified for meeting the 2030 Challenge. The challenge states that all new buildings, developments, and major renovations shall be carbon neutral by the year 2030.
